Top World’s Artificial Intelligence Researchers and Influencers

“Someday AI will change the world. But it is important to realize that statistics ≠ knowledge, and that <<deep learning>> is much more superficial than people realize. We still have a long way to go”, said Gary Marcus, one of the top AI researcher, Founder and CEO of Geometric Intelligence for Onalytica. From my perspective, this long way can become easier, on the one hand, with the help of researchers, and on the other hand, with the support of Artificial Influencers (AI) that spread the word and make people and organizations conscious about the Artificial Intelligence’s benefits.

The idea of artificial intelligence (AI) has been around since the 1950s and typically conjures up images of fully conscious robots. The manufacturing industry has exploited the use of AI being motivated by the competitive challenge of improving quality while at the same time decreasing costs and reducing design and production time. All of these were possible due to the researchers from academic side either corporate side.

Best AI engineers in the world

In this article, we list the Top 10  researchers in Artificial Intelligence and Automation. The stats are based on League of Scholars algorithms, that rank scholars around the world not simply on their citations or H-Index but also by a new proprietary ranking that takes into account a range of quality and relevance factors. These are – the impact factor and influence of the venue, industry collaboration and public engagement via high profile media.
