Dr. Phani Bhushan Sistu is currently responsible for Industry 4.0 Solutions in the IoT Practice in Hitachi Vantara. Phani brings with him nearly 30 years of rich experience in areas of Industry 4.0, OT, IoT, Advanced Process Control, Optimization, and Analytics. Phani has played leadership roles spanning consulting, solutions development, and technology incubation in global systems consulting organizations. Phani has led Digital Transformation consulting engagements and helped shape large scale initiatives in I4.0, OT and IoT for global majors across diverse industry sectors namely, Discrete, Process, Pharma, Mineral Processing, CPG, and Utilities. He led teams in applied R&D and IP development activities in both academic and corporate settings Phani was involved in development and commercialization of the state-of-the-art on-line control and optimization solutions in collaboration with end-user industry partners. Phani is a Chemical Engineer by education with a PhD from Rensselaer in New York state.
