Daniel Behrens, Technical Marketing Engineer
Daniel Behrens is a Technical Marketing Engineer in Cisco’s Internet of Things Connectivity business unit which develops switching, routing, wireless and security products for industrial applications.
Prior to his current position, Dan spent over 3 years in various sales roles at Ciscoassisting organizations to develop end to end architectures for both IT and OT applications. Before joining Cisco, Dan spent 8+ years at Rockwell Automation supporting Manufacturing and Utilities organizations with hardware, software and networking expertise to enable connected solutions and bridge the gaps between corporate and industrial networks.
Dan achieved a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Cleveland State University as well as maintains several Cisco certifications including a CCNP Routing and Switching, CCNA Industrial, CCNA Data Center and CCNA Security.
With his limited free time, Dan enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, skiing and fishing. He currently resides near Cleveland, Ohio with his wife and two boys.
