Greg Dearwater is a trained chemical engineer with a broad background in developing, delivering and marketing advanced solutions globally to the process industries over the last forty years.
Industry experience includes upstream, midstream, downstream, specialty/batch/petro-chemicals and energy & utility sectors for complex sales, SaaS, consulting services, and real-time process manufacturing solutions.
Advanced solutions include process optimization, engineering, IT, information systems, simulation and controls, advanced process control (APC) and on-line manufacturing systems. Focusing on operational excellence and human performance Improvement through use of Operator Training Simulation (OTS) combined with cognitive psychology, training program development and cloud deployment. Digital twin research for process industries is a current research and development interest.
Greg has been employed by petroleum and chemical manufacturing, engineering, automation, software, process licensing and consulting companies. He is currently leading business development activities for CORYS’ Hydrocarbon Division delivering high fidelity dynamic operator training solutions.
